Plaza Player Room Review Dingy but easy 06/16/06, Player: akebono Total Rating: 2.80 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: My opinion of the room is probably tainted by the fact that I saw it immediately after getting off my plane at 4am. It was nearly empty with only one 2/4 game going and the players looked like a very sorry lot. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: I was playing at 4am so I was looking at the oldest hooker known to man, a couple of old guys who couldn't stay awake and what looked like a drunken couple. This game was super soft. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: Again probably influence by it being 4am but they didn't seem to be very interested in the game or players and some dealing errors were made. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Didn't order anything but the old guys seemed to get their drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Management Rating: 3 Management Description: The manager that I met seemed to be a friendy guy. I asked him a little bit about his tournament structures and he tried to answer. All the information that he has posted in the poker room appears to be old and incorrect though. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: They've got a sign that says something like $7 for 4 hours of play. They also have high hand jackpots. I hit the Quad Kings on my second hand and got $162 for it. The maximum jackpot is $500. Back to Plaza Room Review |
