South Point Player Room Review South Coast poker review 06/11/06, Player: lveric Total Rating: 3.30 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: Not a room, just an open area at one end of the casino. Non smoking, which is a plus in my book. Enough room to walk between the tables,moderate noise from annoying keno machines, but they didn't disturb the game. Room's equipment was in good shape. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: Games available were 2/4 and 4/8 limit, and 1/2 no limit. In the no limit game, I found the competition to be average in tightness and aggressiveness-wound up a $60 winner after one hour. The clientele was well mannered. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: Average dealers, a few mistakes, and a little too chatty for my taste. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Good looking cocktail waitresses who provided good service. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: Well managed room, no floor issues, the management seemed attentive and was willing to take the time to answer my questions. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: I wish this section were called value, as I also like to consider the rake as well as comps and jackpots. No limit rake was 10%, but capped at $3. Comps are $1.25/hr, for the first four hours. They have high hand awards for four of a kind or better. Back to South Point Room Review |
