South Point Player Room Review Too early in the morning 04/30/06, Player: OCD Total Rating: 3.00 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: I thought that the South Coast casino was very nice. The casino room is in a seperate area just beyond the main casino. South Coast is newer so the poker room was in good shape. No high tech plasma screens to display wait lists. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: Too many drunks at the table raising 25x BB in a 1/2 no limit game. Played tightly waiting for a hand to commit all of my chips. After about an hour grew tired of only paying the blinds. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: The dealer had some trouble with all of the chips flying around the table. Totally missed a side pot with three players after one guy all in. All of the chips were shoved to the final winner and the side pot winner was left out. Another player (sober, good player and nice guy) not involved in the hand had to point out the error. Fortunatley for the all in he remembered the bet amounts so the guy was made whole. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: For the short time I was there had good service and the poker room manager brought doughnuts to the table which was a nice early morning touch.
