Stardust Player Room Review Friendliest room in Vegas? 04/16/06, Player: MadManiac Total Rating: 4.10 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: The Stardust poker room is not for the player looking for extravaganza or high stakes games. It's clearly an aging room, with some wear and tear, but still with a very friendly atmosphere. This is THE room to play for fun, a friendly game of poker. It was a pleasant surprise to find NL games (1-2) as well. Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: Apart from the occasional poker player, the competition was next to none. No players seemed to be familiar with any kind of poker theory, but were only playing any cards they where dealt. Expect to be called by ALL players even if raising pre-flop in FL games. This is a good thing if you know how to play this kind of game. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: Since I prefer experience before looks, the dealers at Stardust are next to perfect. Most of them have been working there forever, and you will notice that they do almost no mistakes. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: I never drink while playing, but the cocktail waitresses where there all the time, great service. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: The friendliest management of any casino I've been to in Vegas. Never a problem, and always willing to help out. Comps Rating: 5 Comps Description: Well, the poker room rate at $30 per night is excellent, and since I made the reservation, even my friends who didn't play poker got the same rate!
