Plaza Player Room Review Great place for the gamblers 03/08/06, Player: mongo Total Rating: 3.35 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: If you are looking for glitz and glamour this isnt the place. But if you are looking for a great rate with spacious rooms and good atmosphere this is the place. Convenient to Fremont St experience but no problems with noise and such. North tower is most convenient, South tower rooms accesed through casino. Competition Rating: 3 Competition Description: Lot of locals but good play. Played in the 7pm tourneys and had a great time. Final table my first shot. The sit & go's were also great. Always action. Usually only 1 2/4 game going on. Dealer Rating: 5 Dealer Description: Dealers were very pleasnat and no troubles. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: No problems with getting service. They had 1 waitresses for the poker room who did a wonderful job. Loooks were OK but not fantastic. Management Rating: 5 Management Description: The room was run very smoothly. No problems with getting action and they were very helpful with any questions. Only one problem with a cash game that could have been handled better, distracting to other tables but all in all they did a great job. Comps Rating: 2 Comps Description: They offered a $5 food voucher for 4 hrs of play all you had to do was ask. There were jackpots offered although none was hit while I was there.
