Riviera Player Room Review Tournaments at the Riv! 03/05/06, Player: Rick Rock Total Rating: 4.00 Room Quality Rating: 4 Room Quality Description: The room is clean and away from the busiest part of the casino. A small wall around it would make it a 5. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: A very even mix. Some players playing live for the first time. Some playing live in Vegas for the first time. The locals I met were friendly and patient. Mostly 2/4 limit and 1/2 no limit. They recently started tournaments at 1pm and 8pm everyday but saturday. They are $55 dollars with the house taking only $5. They've been 2 to 3 tables with lots of new people. Dealer Rating: 4 Dealer Description: Another even mix. There are some new dealers here, but all are friendly and helpful. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Here we go again. Another even mix. Maria is very cute and always there when you need a drink. Others were not so diligent, but overall, I was satisfied with the service. Management Rating: 4 Management Description: The cardroom manager is very personable and accomodating. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: Comps are OK right now, but soon they say you will be able to swipe your player club card and receiver a better variety of comps.
