Hilton Player Room Review Local crowd, almost private game 02/22/06, Player: AdRock Total Rating: 2.90 Room Quality Rating: 3 Room Quality Description: A bit hidden away next to the sports book. Pretty quiet and very dead; only one or two or two tables going on Saturday afternoon. They don't play music on Saturdays apparently. Competition Rating: 2 Competition Description: Seems to be experienced locals. They didn't all play well, but the four players at the other end of the table all knew each other and two may have been husband and wife. Can't tell for sure if this was a regular crowd or players who had just been playing for a number of hours. This was the only place I played where I didn't make a lot of money or could have if not for my mistakes. Dealer Rating: 2 Dealer Description: I saw a dealer push a pot to the loser -- a bit too chatty and not paying quite enough attention. Cocktail Rating: 3 Cocktail Description: Didn't notice the waitresses, didn't drink. Management Rating: 3 Management Description: Managers were friendly. No pager system but told me I could hear announcements in the sports book. Wished me good luck when I bought chips. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: High hand jackpots for quads and straight flushes were prominently posted. Didn't play long and didn't ask about other comps. Back to Hilton Room Review |
