South Point Player Room Review A locals joint...that is all. 02/22/06, Player: Photoc Total Rating: 3.20 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: The pictures on the webmasters review page sum this room up. The tables are nice quality and the chairs have wheels on them but are slightly uncomfortable after 30 minutes. The tables have the "black hole" betwen the rail and the felt and had to keep digging cards/chips out from under them. Betting lines are a HUGE plus! Competition Rating: 5 Competition Description: 7 calling stations, 2 loose agressive bluffers and me at a table. These guys/girls were making it 50 to go on an A K 10 9 4 board with 4 2 off and getting called on the river by 10 8 offsuit. My kinda tables! Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: I had 5 dealers in the time frame I played. Most are decent. A few didn't know exactly what a raise and reraise amounts were allowed to be. One guy, Bobby was awesome. He kept the game moving, dealt a good pace, knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I wish there were more like him. Cocktail Rating: 5 Cocktail Description: I love the girls here. I've been in the casino a few times and these girls are VERY VERY attractive and get the drinks out fast! What more can you ask for? (besides taking one home of course) Management Rating: 4 Management Description: The one lady working the desk/room the night I was there seemed to have a good grasp on the operations. She went from table to table just to find a couple more people to open up another game when there was a waiting list. Quite friendly as well. Comps Rating: 3 Comps Description: Average $1/hour (not sure on cap) I believe is what it was. No food. They have high hand jackpots for quads or better. High one was Diamond royal for $140xx.00 Back to South Point Room Review |
