South Point Player Room Review I'd wait for their "real room" 01/21/06, Player: blnewt Total Rating: 3.00 Room Quality Rating: 2 Room Quality Description: Not any ambiance, just a cordoned section below the movie entrance. I was told their permanent room is under construction, so I'm going to be forgiving, lol. Competition Rating: 4 Competition Description: I had the absolute worst run of cards I've ever had in my first 2 hour session, I was railed and a bit upset. I took a three hour break and got my money back, but it was still a grind. There were 3-4 very astute players, but the rest would just call anything and hope for a miracle~and by golly, many miracles occured at this table. Just glad I re-couped my losses, otherwise I'd have a very bad taste in my mouth. Dealer Rating: 3 Dealer Description: A couple dealers were quite good, but a couple others had a hard time defining some hands and had a couple miss-deals. It's a new resort so this is to be expected. Cocktail Rating: 4 Cocktail Description: Quick & Friendly Management Rating: 3 Management Description: Very nice & well managed for the most part. The guy running the tables at night seemed a bit distracted, but again, I'm sure there's alot of growing-pains going on right now at this new casino. Comps Rating: 4 Comps Description: Same as other Coast rooms $1.25 for the first 4 hours of play which is a bit above the norm. Back to South Point Room Review |
