Party Poker Online Poker Room Review by AllVegasPoker.com

Visit Party Poker Directly

Party Poker is the most popular online poker site on the web. It is common to see over 50,000 players playing on any given night so there are always games available at all limits. Party Poker is endorsed by Mike Sexton, announcer of the World Poker Tour. There have been rumors of the company going public with an estimated value of between 5 to 9 billion dollars. Your money is safe at this site and cashouts are processed in a timely manner.

Party Poker Promotions
Party Poker offers two types of deposit bonus for new players:
20% bonus on a deposit of up to $100
$25 bonus on a deposit of $50 or more

If you plan on depositing less than $125 in your account, the $25 bonus is the best choice. If you plan on depositing more than $125, the 20% bonus is your best option. It is recommended that you make a deposit of $500 to receive the full bonus of $100. Although you have to deposit $500 to get the maximum bonus, you don’t have to risk all of this money. You can always set a loss limit and just quit if you reach that limit. This way, you give yourself a chance at the full deposit bonus if you end up playing there frequently.

Party Poker also has many other promotions including a frequent player points system, a store, satellites to major live tournaments, and an occasional tournament with a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. There is also a bad beat jackpot which has reached over $700,000.

Party Poker is also home to the Party Poker Million. This is a $10,000 buy-in tournament run on a cruise and is featured as part of the World Poker Tour. In March 2005, over 700 entrants qualified and competed for the $1.5 million top prize. Party Poker runs satellites year-round which start at $25.

Party Poker Games
PartyPoker offers Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7-Card Stud, and 7-Card stud Hi-lo. Unlike other sites, PartyPoker has traffic for all these games at almost every type of limit. Limits range from $.50-$1.00 up to $30-$60 including pot-limit and no-limit games.

With so much traffic, the quality of games at Party Poker is very good. There are many weak players so it is quite easy to achieve a consistent good earn rate. Also, with so many games, if you do find yourself in a tough game it is quite easy to move to a better game.

Party Poker Software
PartyPoker’s software is fast and dependable. The interface is ranked as average as other sites are more pleasing to the eye. Signup for tournaments is easy and straightforward. PartyPoker is one of the only sites which does not show the percentage of players who see the flop.
