Content: All Vegas Poker is one year old, and boy what a year it has been!
In the past year, the number of poker rooms in Las Vegas has doubled, and there is really no end in sight to the poker explosion. New poker rooms are announced almost monthly, making it most definitely an exciting time to be a poker lover.
During the past year, the website has grown like a wild weed. The site now consistently draws 1,000-1,500 poker players per day, and these averages grow each month. There are also more than 1,000 poker room reviews, trip reports, and news stories online. This means there is no shortage of great Vegas poker content, much of it supplied by the website’s loyal visitors, like you.
To celebrate turning one year old, All Vegas Poker had its very own custom poker chips made. The new All Vegas Poker chips feature the website’s logo on each side of the chip. These are series one of a limited edition (only 500), and I don’t plan to make any more like these ever again. I hope they will become somewhat of a collector’s item (see top right for a picture of the chips).
I plan to carry a few of these custom chips with me when I play poker. I’ll use one as my chip marker, and keep a few in my pocket to share with curious opponents. I would also like to share these limited edition poker chips with supporters of the website, so I am considering giving one away when visitors submit a new poker room review or trip report.
I could afford to send these instead of the $1 Bellagio chips, so I would like to give visitors the option of selecting which chip they want (All Vegas Poker or Bellagio). What do you think? Is this a good idea? How do you recommend that I give the chips away? How do I make sure they end up in the right hands - the hands of our supporters?
One last thing -- Big ups to Nevada Jacks! The custom poker chips were ordered from NevadaJacks.net, which I highly recommend. Jim is the graphic artist over there, and he worked with me via e-mail to make sure the design was perfect. The chips were competitively priced, and best of all they were manufactured and delivered fast! Other manufacturers of custom poker chips said it would take months, but NevadaJacks had them manufactured and delivered in less than 10 days. Well done. If you ever need some poker chips, I recommend you check 'em out.
*Extra special thanks also to John from pokerchipreviews.com . When I was doing my research, I e-mailed John and he recommended Nevada Jacks. His site reviews all the poker chip manufacturers on the market, so if you're shopping around for this sort of thing, you should definitely check out his site. *
