News New Green Valley Ranch Poker Room Already Planned? A brand new poker room could be opening at Green Valley Ranch within one year. Evidently, the poker room that just opened is only temporary. Date: 08/30/05 Room: Green Valley Ranch Summary: A brand new poker room could be opening at Green Valley Ranch within one year. Evidently, the poker room that just opened is only temporary. Content: I recently received an e-mail from a source that said the Green Valley Ranch will open a brand new poker room within one year. There is already significant construction underway where the lower parking lot was at Green Valley Ranch. Evidently, a totally new race and sports book is planned for this area, plus an all new and even larger poker room. This is unusual because it looks like the Green Valley Ranch spent a considerable amount of money building out its poker room that it just opened two weeks ago. As I mentioned in my full review of the Green Valley Ranch, the management did a nice job with the physical facilities. I have to admit it seems a bit wasteful to do such a nice job in only a temporary room. But hey! This is Vegas right? And if the present poker room at Green Valley Ranch is only a temporary poker room, then it’s definitely the nicest temporary poker room that I have ever played in! It’s hard to imaging Green Valley Ranch needing more than 10-11 tables, although I understand that the poker room has been packed since it opened. So, what do I know?
