Over the past week All Vegas Poker has received information from several sources regarding the upcoming Paris poker room. Based on these reports, it sounds like the Paris poker room will be opening on Thursday, September 15th.
Also, the Paris poker room will not be a poker room at all, but rather a section of the casino floor, which was previously a blackjack pit, adjacent to the sports book.
The poker room looks like it will have 10-11 tables, and it will open with part of the management team from Bally’s, which is logical because both casinos are under the same corporate umbrella, Harrah’s (formerly Caesars).
Frankly, I’m a little disappointed that the executives at a flagship casino-property like Paris Las Vegas are not spending the money to build a true poker “room.” Nevertheless, I’m still excited to see what the suits end up with, and All Vegas Poker will be there on opening night to tell you all about it.
Please note that this information is not 100% certain, and until it is confirmed by Harrah’s these statements are merely rumors.
If you have any more information about the planned Paris Las Vegas poker room, or news about any other poker room in Las Vegas, please send an e-mail to info@allvegaspoker.com. All sources are confidential.
