Silverton Opens Poker Room, and it’s Surprisingly Well Done!
The Silverton may have built the nicest five table poker room anywhere in the world. I am impressed.

Date: 05/29/05
Room: General News
Summary: The Silverton may have built the nicest five table poker room anywhere in the world. I am impressed.

Content: Today at noon the Silverton opened a five-table low-limit poker room, and it’s really quite nice. Admittedly, I did not expect much from the Silverton. It is not exactly known as a big-time Las Vegas casino. Frankly, I expected nothing more than a roped off area of the casino floor, with a few poker tables set up. But, the Silverton has actually built a remarkably well-designed, beautiful little poker room.

The Silverton’s little poker room has some of the nicest poker tables anywhere in Vegas, plus some of the most comfortable poker chairs I have ever sat in. And, if the competition tonight is any indication of the competition I can expect in the future, then I’ll be there a lot.

Actually, I’ll probably be at the Silverton’s new poker room a lot anyway. Why? Because I just moved into a brand new house in an area called Southern Highlands. Southern Highlands is literally right down the street from the Silverton. It’s less than two minutes away from my house. I won’t be able to resist the temptation. I just know it. This is now the closest I have ever actually lived to a poker room. And thankfully, it’s a really cool little poker room.

You can read the full review of the Silverton poker room here.
