Two New Poker Rooms Opening Soon: Venetian and Silverton.

The Venetian is getting back into the poker business. Several years ago, the Venetian closed its poker room. But, word on the street is that it's coming back, and better than ever! I don't have any specific information on the Venetian poker room at this point, other than it is on the way. If you can share any more specific details, please e-mail info@allvegaspoker.com. The Venetian is a high-class hotel, and I expect a very nice poker room.

The Silverton is also opening a poker room very soon. On Saturday, May 28th, the Silverton will open a six table poker room near the sportsbook. The Silverton poker room will be non-smoking, and will spread low limit games. Poker player comps will be offered, and a comp tracking system will be in place a few days after the poker room opens.

The opening of the Silverton poker room is especially cool for me because I live very close to it. And, until now, poker playing options away from the Las Vegas Strip were limited. Sometimes it's nice to get in a poker session without having to traverse the Strip traffic. Look for the Silverton poker page to be added to AllVegasPoker.com within the next few days.
