Content: The Riviera just arrived to the Las Vegas poker party. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Poker in Las Vegas is enjoying a revival – the likes of which has never before been seen. In the past year, more than a dozen Las Vegas hotels have opened poker rooms, and there are more on the way. The Rivera's addition is just additional evidence that visitors to Las Vegas want to play some poker! The Rivera poker room is small, at only six tables. And, it is primarily spreading low limit games, with a strong emphasis on $2/4. The poker room has a $2/5 no limit game going consistently on weekends also. The buy-in at the no limit game is $100 minimum, with no maximum. The Riviera poker room is located next to the sports book. I don't expect many locals will frequent the poker room because there are no comps or tournaments offered at this time.
