The Last Poker Room on The Strip Goes No Smoking.

Summary: As of April 1, 2005 the Stardust poker room no longer allows smoking anywhere in the card room. The Stardust was the last Strip poker room to close the curtains on smoking.

Sorry smokers, your luck just ran out. At least with respect to your chances for light'n up a cigarette in a poker room located on the Strip in Las Vegas.

As of April 1, 2005 the Stardust poker room is completely no smoking. This isn't exactly a surprise. Over the past year more than half a dozen Las Vegas poker rooms have gone completely smoke free. Until this week, the Stardust was the last poker room on the Strip where smoking was permitted at the tables.

Fortunately for the chronic smokers there are still several poker rooms in Las Vegas that do continue to allow smoking at the table. However, you won't find any of these poker rooms on the Las Vegas Strip. You will have to venture elsewhere, such as the Palms or Sunset Station.
