Stardust Poker Room: The Last Poker Room on The Strip Where Smoking is Allowed.
Within the past year many Las Vegas poker rooms have gone no-smoking. Now, the only card room on The Strip where you can smoke at the table is the Stardust.

Date: 02/25/05
Room: Stardust
Summary: Within the past year many Las Vegas poker rooms have gone no-smoking. Now, the only card room on The Strip where you can smoke at the table is the Stardust.

Content: If you're the type of person who enjoys a cigarette while playing cards, your poker room options on the Las Vegas Strip are severely limited. As of last month, the only poker room on the Strip that still allows smoking is the Stardust. During the past year, at least a half dozen Las Vegas poker rooms have gone no-smoking. The latest casualty was the Sahara, which officially went no-smoking three weeks ago. While poker in Las Vegas is enjoying a revival, the option of smoking at a card room is dying a slow death.

There are poker rooms in Vegas that still allow smoking, but you will have to venture off the strip to find them. Some of the more popular off-strip poker rooms where smoking is allowed include Palms, Sunset Station, Sam's Town, and Boulder Station. The Palms poker room is by far the closest, but unfortunately, none of these poker rooms are within walking distance of The Strip.
