Excalibur poker room re-opens today, Friday, July 10th, at 4PM.
The 12 table room closed on Sunday to remove the electronic tables that the room added back in August 2008.
Excalibur's new poker room is identicle to the old room, with the same 12 original tables, Bad Beat jackpot board, and prize wheel.
The room will not immediately be bringing back a wheel spin for Aces cracked (an old Excalibur staple promotion). Instead, the following promotions are running:
A Jackpot payout occurs when the following occurs:
In Texas Hold ‘Em – losing with Aces Full or better to four of a kind or better. To qualify as a jackpot, both the winning and losing hand(s) must:
a. Be the player’s highest possible combination of five cards.
b. Include both of the player’s hole cards.
c. If Aces full, at least one ace must be in the hole and the remaining hole card must be paired with a board card equal to or greater in rank than any pair on the board.
d. If four of a kind, two of the four must be a pocket pair.
A Wheel Spin occurs with the following hand(s) in Texas Hold ‘Em:
1.Aces full of twos or better, assuming the following conditions have been met:
a. Players use both hole cards to make the hand.
2. Four of a kind or straight flush, assuming the following conditions have been met:
a. At least one hole card is used.
For both, $20 must be in the pot and the promo dollar have been raked.
$222 for Quad Deuces and the Double Wheel Spins from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. also remain in effect.
