In January, Harrah's Las Vegas, under the direction of Leo Soderman, the Lead Shift Supervidor, introduced an aggressive new promotion to build a consistent base and maintain games.
In this promotion (referred to as the "Bailout"), players would earn cash for hours played, at the rate of:
75 hours to 99 hours = $2 per hour cashback
100 Hours to 125 Hours = $3 per hour cashback
Over 125 Hours = $599 maximum cashback
Hours must be earned playing cash games at Harrah's Las Vegas, during the calandar month. Hours do not roll over. The money is collectible on the 5th of the following month, through the end of the month, and the player must collect in person.
In addition to the above, players can earn $10 per hour ($30 max) Sunday-Thursday by playing in the morning, starting before noon and not before 8AM. This adds up to $150 per week. This promotion is known as the "Breakfast Club".

Harrah's has been running both promotions cnsurrently since January, and is continuing the promotions during the month of the WSOP. It is very rare for a room to continue special promotions such as this during the WSOP. According to the supervisor, the decision was to maintan the loyalty of his players.
