News WSOP Season has Officially Commenced! The World Series of Poker has begun at the Rio, truly the best time of the year for all poker players. Date: 05/30/09 Room: General News Summary: The World Series of Poker, a month long tournament series held at the Rio, has officially started, and along with it comes the best time of the year for all poker players in Las Vegas. Content: WSOP season has started! The WSOP kicked off at the Rio two days ago, and along with it comes the best season for all poker players. For the next 6 weeks, expect all poker rooms to be bustling, with phenomenal tournaments available in a multitude of locations. The Venetian is holding their outstanding Deepstack Extravaganza. Binion's is holding their Binion's Classic. The Rio is hosting the World Series of Poker. Plus, outstanding daily tournaments, insanely action driven cash games, and every game imaginable available both at the Amazon room at the Rio and elsewhere.
