Wynn Las Vegas will open its highly anticipated hotel and poker room on April 28th, 2005. Steve Wynn is legendary for building the biggest and the best, so expectations couldn't be greater.
An announcement was made this week that Daniel Negreanu has already been hired by Steve Wynn as the ambassador for the 27 table poker room. Daniel reported on his website that he was blown away by the new hotel. Local players will also be pleased to know that the poker room will be conveniently located next to the parking garage.
I haven't met Daniel personally yet, but he seems like a genuinely nice guy. I have no idea what a poker ambassador does, but I wish him the best of luck with his new gig, and I'm looking forward to seeing him on April 28.
