Excalibur running daily $500 freerolls to promote pokertek electronic tables

Summary: Every day at 10AM the Excalibur is running a 6 table max $500 freeroll to help build a customer base for its electronic Pokertek dealerless tables.

The Excalibur Poker Room did away with live tables and dealers a few weeks ago, and went all electronic.

The Excal now spreads all games electronically on Pokertek Pokerpro tables.

They have been running a 60 person $500 freeroll every day since opening to help spread the word and build a customer base for the new room.

Signups start at 8AM, but it is recommended to be there by 7:30AM to get into the freeroll. Players playing in live games get priority on sign ups.

So far, the $500 is being paid by pokertek, as the Nevada Gaming Commission has yet to approve the jackpot reserve allocation use to fund these freerolls.
