Date: 08/05/08 Room: General News Summary: Eastside Cannery, located on Boulder Highway, will be Grand Opening on August 28th, 2008, and will offer an 8 table poker room with a plethora of Grand Opening promotions. Content: Eastside Cannery is a new locals based Hotel and Casino which will grand open on Thursday, August 28th, 2008. It is located next door to Sam's Town, on the former Nevada Palace casino site. The new Eastside Cannery poker room will be 8 tables, and offer a $3 max rake (plus $1 jackpot). They will also be offering hourly comps with no maximum earned for one day. For the Grand Opening, they will be offering several promotions including: Free Spinners, Hats, and Jackets; $700 Daily Cash giveaways; as well as a joint property freeroll starting in Semptember (more details on this will be posted soon). It will be a non-smoking poker room in which they expect to offer 2/4LHE, 4/8LHE, 1/2NLHE, 4/8 Omaha High, and 2-7 Spread Limit Stud High. |
