No More Premium Drinks at Caesars Palace Poker Room.

Last night I visited the Caesars Palace poker room for the first time in quite a while. After being seated at my table for a few minutes a Caesars Palace cocktail waitress came by taking drink requests.

I ordered my usual; Patron Margarita with salt. I don't drink Margaritas very often, but I remembered from my full review of the poker room that Caesars Palace used to serve amazing Patron Margaritas.

About the time I get the word "salt" out of my mouth the cocktail waitress informs me that she's sorry but she can't serve me Patron. In fact, she can't serve me any premium alcohol. I am limited to well drinks.

I tell her about my experience ordering delicious Patron Margaritas there in the past, and she says that the ban on premium alcohol for poker players is relatively new. I think she said it has been in place a few months.

What a bummer. I'll need to update my Caesars Palace editor's review.

If you want premium alcohol, go to Venetian or Wynn to play poker. At those places you can get almost anything your liver desires.
