Summary: The Venetian recently published a newsletter that included some juicy details about its upcoming poker room. Get ready for this - 21 plasma televisions, rich leathers and woods, butler service, and gourmet dining. Oh yeah, and people are going to play poker there too.

Content: Is this a poker room or a classy hotel? One could logically reach either conclusion based on the description recently published by The Venetian concerning its upcoming poker room. This place is gonna be sick!

You might recall that The Venetian invited All Vegas Poker to a behind the scenes preview of the upcoming poker room a few months ago. At that time, not many of these details were known.

This new information makes the poker room at The Venetian seem even more exciting than I originally anticipated. Naturally, I expected The Venetian to build a first class poker room, but the description below raises my expectations even further.

The best card rooms in Las Vegas will have a genuine five-star monster to compete with come Spring. This is nothing but good news for poker players.

THE VENETIAN
Poker Room

The new face of Las Vegas poker will soon be emerging at The Venetian. What is destined to be the city's most exciting poker room - designed
with the kind of elegance and artistry for which The Venetian is famous - will be opening this spring. At nearly 10,500 square feet, The Venetian Poker Room will not only be among the city's largest but also its most exquisite, decorated in rich leathers and woods in a smoke-free environment.

Throughout the room, players will find 21 arge-screen plasma televisions, adjustable chairs, safe deposit boxes, and the latest tate-of-the-art technology, while a separate high-stakes area will offer butler service and gourmet dining. Players can choose between the ever-popular Texas Hold ‘Em (limit and no-limit), Stud, and Omaha with limits starting at $4-$8. Discover for yourself the new face of poker at The Venetian.
