Summary: The poker room at Monte Carlo recently introduced new poker tournaments. There is a 9 AM $40 buy-in NL tournament Monday – Friday. Also, $50 single table SNGs are available three times per day, Monday - Friday: 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Content: The poker room at Monte Carlo recently published a promotional flyer [montecarlo.com] that states, “It’s time to Ram-and-Jam.” Well, that could only mean one thing – new poker tournaments!
The poker room at Monte Carlo invites you to check out its new poker tournaments. The No Limit poker tournaments are offered Monday – Friday at 9:00 AM. The total buy-in is $40. $10 is raked off the buy-in for the house and dealers, meaning 75% is returned to players.
The tournaments are freeze-out style, meaning no add-ons or rebuys. Players begin the poker tournament with $1,000 in chips.
The new 9:00 AM poker tournaments at Monte Carlo are drawing about 60 players per day, and usually take 2-3 hours from start to finish.
The poker room at Monte Carlo is also offering single table sit-n-go (SNG) tournaments three times per day. SNG tournaments are really blowing up in Vegas, probably because they are the short internet-style tournaments that online poker players have become accustomed to playing.
The single table SNGs at Monte Carlo are offered Monday – Friday at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. The buy-in is $50, and 74% is returned to players. The payout is $320 to first place, and only $50 to second place. That’s very nearly winner-take-all, so heads-up skill in this tourney is really important.
