New Daily Poker Tournaments at Harrahs; More Tournaments Coming Soon.
Harrah’s Las Vegas is offering No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournaments daily at 11:00 AM. Also, 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM poker tournaments are expected very soon.
Date: 01/29/06
Room: Harrah's
Summary: Harrah’s Las Vegas is offering No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournaments daily at 11:00 AM. Also, 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM poker tournaments are expected very soon.
Content: The poker room at Harrah’s now has NL Texas Hold’em tournaments seven days per week at 11:00 AM.
The total buy-in is $50. After the house rake is subtracted, 80% of the buy-in is returned.
Players begin the poker tournament with $1,500 chips, and an optional one time add-on is available at any time during the first hour. The add-on gets players an extra $1,500 in chips for $40, and 100% of the add-on money is placed into the prize pool.
Harrah’s is drawing to its poker tournaments 50 to 70 players per day on weekdays, and 80 to 100+ players on weekends. That is a very respectable number of players for a daily poker tournament in Las Vegas.
A source inside the poker room at Harrah’s also recently informed me that additional poker tournaments at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM will be available soon. There is no confirmed word on when these new poker tournaments will first be available, but they are expected to be offered Monday – Thursday. They should have the same buy-in, add-on, and blind level structure.

A big thank you to the source that provided the information about the new poker tournaments at Harrah’s. If you have any more information about the poker room at Harrah’s, or news about any other poker room in Las Vegas, please send an e-mail to info@allvegaspoker.com. All sources are confidential.
