whats the 5 game mix at mirage? is it a regular game? stakes? games played?
I don't think it's a regular thing. Chris could better answer that. We played $3/6 with the mix of razz, 2-7, double flop Omaha, stud8, and baduci. Fun times!
It's not regular--but it should be. Guarantee if they ran a mixed game Saturday nights I'd be there all night on my visits. (Chris also offered us a $2 max rake, but I don't think that'd be sustainable in the long run.)
And just to clarify, when I sat down, it was a 4-game mix (4 apparently chosen from a bunch of LVM's game placards), but a 5th was quickly added. And one of the games started as just "plain" Omaha, but its first round up after I sat down, the table decided to turn it into double-flop Omaha for the rest of the night. Definitely fun times--and with great folks!
I take the credit or blame depending how you look at it on the double flop omaha....
Three tables went off last week, two the week before and three the week before that! Right now we have 15 names on the list. Always a blast! Hope to see a bunch of AVPers later

They really are welcoming. This is the lowest level mixed game around. They expect players who are learning.

The first time I ever played it, towards the end of the evening, a couple of young guys sat down. One didn't know how to play most of the games, and literally took about a minute to act every time action was on him. Not a single player in the game complained. Obviously, we all want his money in there.
Some of those games can be a bit confusing. On a couple of them, I still have to stop and think before I act, and I've played most of the games quite a bit.
I think you will find that most players at the table are courteous and willing to help.
