I read in one hte reviews here that this room feels like a convention room. I agree with that the lighing and enviroment has an office feel to it. Although overall this is one of the nicer rooms

I am going to have to agree with most of the reviews on this site with regard to this room. Though I initially liked it, and gave it a favorable review, in retrospect, it is basically a big boring room.

If my church put poker tables in its bingo hall, it would be the same thing.

I played in the noon tournament in May. Caesar's poker room reminded me of a nice conference room for business seminars. Pleasant enough, but generally boring. You almost wouldn't even know you're in Las Vegas. It's good for focusing on the game, but I'd rather spend my vacation time in a place that looks like a place to spend vacation time, even if it is just a roped off area of the casino floor and somewhat noisier.

Vito Casucci is the new Director of Poker Operations at CP.

Saw him there last week (7/06) -- a surprise to both of us. Vito was the poker manager at a couple of the St Louis Poker rooms a few years ago.

A great guy.

You guys are dead on about the convention room feel. I too initially liked this room much more than I do now. Hardly saw any playing time here on my last trip. Ambience does not exist. Good staff, however.

It appears they're trying at least a little bit to improve the room with some uh... modern art (read: bookshelves) to separate some of the areas.

On a side note, when they were filming the heads up poker championship there, it was pretty neat with the whole tourney room made to look all fancy with the black curtains and everything. If they could incorporate a similar feel to the actual tourney room with a "featured" table, that would be pretty cool.

Can anyone tell me how you redeem the comps you've accumlated in this room?

I was there in May (going again next week) and I had been giving them my card, etc. I did ask for a food comp and I did get one but it took a while and the floor acted like I was bothering them since the desk had to get it signed. He said something about how wherever you go eat can just call the poker room and get your comp applied. Is this how it's suppose to work?
