A couple of weeks ago, Perry and I played here to try out the Omaha High game.
We both lost, but the game was quite action filled, and I would highly recommend this room for someone seeking Omaha high, or a smoking room, since it is one of only two left.
The game is worth a visit. Rack upon rack was being dumped on the table, and won or lost in a single hand. Great action.

LVM, when I first got interested in poker (2004) I stumbled across an article at Poker Pages written by someone writing under the pen name "Gone West." Suspect the article was a couple years old then (thus predating the "poker boom.") He had this to say about Omaha Hi @ Boulder:
"The real secret at this train stop rests in the game that fills up most of the tables in the room. See, the Boulder Station sits a $4-8 Omaha High game that is out of this world. Although a great number of rooms will spread an Omaha High/Low, it is nearly impossible to find any regular action across the Meadows for Omaha High Only. Well look no further, because Boulder Station has it at any time you feel the need to blow through a few hundred. I know you poker ninjas are saying, "This guy is nuts, I graduated from kiddie poker. Why would I bother with a $4-8 game?" Well son, this is not Granny's Saturday afternoon tea party. There is so much action in this game, I have to go to confession every time I finish. Most people buy in for $100 rack of white and blow through that in about twenty minutes. The most common dealer screech is not "Floor on 5", it is "rack of white on 5". I heard one dealer call it the "crack-cocaine" of poker. I do not see many Omaha High games, but I have witnessed several crack deals in this town and I think the pace for re-buying is about the same. It is not uncommon to walk out with $400-500 bucks in a good night. While reviewing this room for this article, I watched a nice gentlemen bury a table for $800 in ninety minutes. Don't believe me! Just take a cab from your $10-20 game over to Boulder Station. I guarantee the next cab you fall into will be the next morning."
That infernal 4/8 game is the most frustrating form of poker I've ever come across. Day after day I play damn near perfectly only to have 7 people call down my top set and hit their gut shots on the river. The board never pairs, that's just a myth. As profitable as I "think" the game should be, I have no choice but to give up on it... for now anyway...
But what I REALLY came here for, do you think Lynn would marry a complete stranger if he asked? I love everything about that woman! Her accent, hair, lips, energy, attitude, you name it. She is the perfect woman and the only reason I'm tempted to go back. I figure she's GOT to have a boyfriend though... Anyone know where she's from? I'd guess Korea but she seems like MAYBE she could be Japanese? I suck at telling either way. It's hilarious how much people tip her, myself included. She must have the heaviest shirt pocket in Vegas
Post your Lynn appreciation here!

Well shame on her if she did. I suspect her husband wouldn't like the extra company much, and there's also some kind of fussy law against having too many of those around the house at the same time. But she is an exceptionally pretty and graceful young woman, so I understand.

Do you play there a lot? I was wondering who the big winners are there. I would imagine Mary is one, though I do see her play fishy sometimes. Elderly Barbera (as opposed to young Barbera) has to be one too I'd think. There are one or two "young gun" types who always seem to be up when I see them. Are any of the regulars props?

Only times I've noticed staff playing is at a short table to help a game get started or keep it from breaking, and/or when they need to clock a few more hours at the end of the month to keep their benefits.
