The big news is that the Venetian is having Faith Hill and Tim McGraw start performing in December.

I wish the inaugural AVP Weekly Showdown was on Friday instead of Thursday. I'm not leaving here until about 2pm on Thursday.

Speaking of that "long running" IP mixed game, who's gonna be there. If I make it to the final session at the Mirage freeroll, I'll be over there as soon as I bust out (or win). Otherwise, I'll be there and occupying a seat at 7pm sharp, ready for a night full of merriment, hopefully into the wee hours.

1. Orleans, $75 Omaha 8/b tourney, 7:05 pm
2. M Resort, $55 NL, 6 pm
3. Mirage, $60 NL, 7 pm
4. Tropicana, $55 NL, 7 pm
5. Binions, $60 NL, 8 pm

(Just booked my winter trip so, yes, I will attend wherever the AVP Showdown is scheduled. I also plan to play in the AVP Mixed Game at IP that Sunday night, as usual.)
