...is sending me an awful lot of promotional emails.

But not offering much in the way of decent room rates, nor are they offering to waive the "resort" fees that make their advertised rates meaningless.

I knew it had to be bad, they finally got an offer out to me. I asked 5 or 6 times and couldn't get put on a mailing list. So if even I rate, they must be sending them by the boatload.

I enjoy the poker room but their "offers" via e-mail are not all that spectacular.

Mirage is hit or miss with their promos. I find they are either way over priced or they are in the discussion of places I am looking at staying. So much of it depends on the weekend or days of choice. Overall I find that the MGM and NYNY, 2 other properties that are pretty much on the same level in terms of quality offer better rates overall.
Also I believe TI has offered some deals where the resort fee was possibly waived.

Again it is the TOTAL PRICE you should be looking at.

Hard to figure how they target their marketing. I've been getting a bunch of them (none very enticing) for Monte Carlo and Mandalay Bay in particular. If I list the company's properties where I've actually spent some time and done some play in the last few years, neither of those would be on it, and Local Rock is hardly the fashionable Mandalay ultra-buff poolside lounger sort. Nor should they want me to ever go out to buy a thong and act on the delusion that I am; wouldn't be good for business. Oh well.
