Great tourney last night, was great to meet all the members I seen on here. Was a pleasure to sit at same table as Photoc and Perry.
The bottle of JD I had helped soften the blow of getting knocked out early!
Mixed game was a lot of fun at TI, thanks to staff there, Bloofer, Asian Dave etc. Was exceptionally proud that I broke even in those games I had never played before. (Even with Sabs stealing half my stack!)
I'm out here for over a week more, so if there's any more action give me a shout.

With 5 left, my tournament got crushed when I had AVP (with his bounty) all in on the flop (yes, I trapped him like a school girl in the janitor's closet) with AA against K,4 on an A,J,2 board. He hit a 3, leaving a non-diamond 5 as an out and the 5 of clubs dropped on the river. That was for about half the chips in play. Yuck... I finished 4th.
Here is a photo of this hand:

What a killer AVP event! It was the biggest and best AVP tournament so far! Nearly 100 AVPers in attendance, more than $1,400 for first place, and a great atmosphere!
I.P. poker room management really went out of their way to make this AVP event first class. Thank you!
I had a great time! It didn't hurt that I finished 5th place either --
Huge props to everyone who shows their support for AVP by coming out and being a part of the live poker community. If you couldn't make it to AVP VI - don't worry, we'll start planning AVP VII soon enough.

Final table gets seated
sleepyD104 shows off his bounty!
Wild child gets 'em all in but was eliminated in 10th
JoeyNumbnutz gets them all in on this hand with 33 vs Dirrrty's AK, but an A hit the river sending Numbnutz to the rail in 8th place.
But at least JoeyNumbnutz is still smiling - after three re-buys I think he made $35.
GK2400 was knocked out next.
AVP comes over the top of YappyDave's pre-flop raise (Yappy eventually folds).
Hand of the night for me.
YappyDave min raises pre-flop and I call in the BB with K,4o. Yappy checks the flop. I had previously joked about pushing whenever I had an Ace, and I had shown it twice, so thinking the Ace was a scare card I pushed. Yappy insta calls and tables AA for a flopped set.
In this picture I'm pointing to the heavens praying to the poker gods for some divine intervention.
Divine intervention arrives when I hit a runner runner straight -- this was enough to make Yappy vomit in his mouth - as you can see he's away from the table.
AVP does a happy dance to thank the poker gods for their generosity!
The facial expressions say it all.
Just a few hands later the poker gods changed their tune. Moneyshot86 and I were all-in preflop. I was holding AA to his KK. Moneyshot86 spiked a K on the flop, and I was eliminated in 5th.
Moneyshot86 scooping all my chips with a big grin -- this put him in a dominant lead that could not be overcome.
The final hand was moneyshot86 holding 77 vs Dirrrty holding 94. When Dirrty his a 4 on the flop he couldn't get away from it and eventually called all in.
Congratulations Moneyshot86!
Huge thanks to my friend Morgan (an AVP lurker) who played in the tournament but busted out mid-way and was kind enough to help me capture the moments with these great photos!

I can't out too much here as anyone in the company would immediately recognize the posts coming from me, but I think you know who I'd have to work for and that'd be a HUGE stretch for me
Plus, Jan isn't too keen on the West Coast gig, although the location would be better suited for her expertise!
