The one thing about the Bellagio I didn't like is that the 4-8 tables are bunched together. They give more room, and frankly better service, to those who are playing 8-16 and higher. I'm not a fan of discrimination like that, but other than that, I am a fan of the Bellagio.

Lots of people playing under 30/60 have had lots of problems with management litterally not wanting anything to do with them (the player). There have been some very negative reviews on the room, management, cocktail service, and comps at the Bellagio lately. The room is insanely cramped and the above reasons are why I wont play there.
Over Christmas/New Years week, I tried to play at Bellagio once. The 4/8 game had four tables going and a list of over 30 names. There was a wide open empty table sitting in the low limit section. No one in management made any attempt to open it. Wait lists for the other games were four names or less. I gave up after an hour.
There just isn't any reason to go to Bellagio for low limit anymore, when options like Wynn, Venetian, Mirage and MGM are so much more friendly and accommodating to low limit players.
Even Ralph, one of the few remaining friendly managers at Bellagio, has moved over to Wynn. The remaining managers at Bellagio are contemptuous of low limit players.
It appears these days that the primary reason to go to Bellagio is to spot a celebrity. Sorry, I got over that form of entertainment years ago. I just want to play poker.

I'm grateful in a very weird way that I'm not the only one who detests the poker room management at Bellagio. I posted a review of the room a year and a half ago, but alas, my letter to Mirage Management about the incident has gone unanswered these many months.
Fortunately, Venetian and Wynn are happy to take all us lower stakes mooks....wait, aren't the rakes identical in the lower stakes games, and the tips nearly the same? Gee, could this just be good business?
Like we all have seen, the Bellagio management doesn't cater to low to mid limit players. It is refreshing to see more and more players going elsewhere to play. God forbid people actually play downtown, where poker in vegas was popularized. People need to visit Fremont street more often. The strip is overrated if you are a gambler.

I am so gald it's not just me who feels this way,...and I see even this site administrator agrees with it,....I refuse to be cramped like sardines and my last visit (only my second visit there) will be my last timeplaying there. I'll be going to vegas again in 3 weeks and again in two months, but will never play at bellagio,..who the hell needs them, when there is more rooms available, and I am certain this feeling is mutual (as in bellagio not wnting small to middle players either) with all the big players playing there.

Sorta like why I was sad to see STARDUST go.........I liked their poker room, and they took care of me as a small player.............Now the Echelon Place? Wonder if it is going to be like the Bellagio....................although Boyd Gaming has treated me right so far........
I used to really like the Bellagio. That was back in '03 & '04 before I knew better. When the Wynn, Venetian, & Ceasars opened their rooms I really believe the Bellagio wasn't ready for the competition.
First the Bellagio was slow to change the 2/5 from a 200 max buyin. That drove me to see the Wynn. Then Bellagio is so outdated with their paper lists it is crazy. I was at the Bellagio in Dec'06 during the prelims of the WPT event. My better half and I are staying at the Bellagio. So we arrive and hit the cafe for lunch right away. I sit down and order lunch and then decide to go get on the lists as I knew they would be long. I go from the cafe to the poker room. I arrive to see no one at either podium. I have to wait like 10 minutes until finally someone comes and waits on me.
The service in the Bellagio poker room is just not top notch like the rest of the hotel.
