Great site - Great info - When is next AVP? _ I am trying to arrange my next trip in Sept/Oct - Played in the last one in MGM in Oct 11 - Great tourney - Great Structure and Great Prizes.

DIS i am hoping for the final weekend in Oct as that is "final table" weekend.

+1 ! That would be the best time to do it (WSOP final table, Venetian Deepstack Series, etc...)

We are working on the date and will release it as soon as we know to allow adequate time for trip planning, but please keep in mind that it's not easy to book very far in advance as the casinos don't like to commit too early. Also, there is a process where we have to ask for the space and then the poker manager needs to get it OK'd with their boss, etc, so it unfortunately doesn't happen too quickly. We'll do our best to accommodate!

my best GUESS will be an oct tourney will be officially official in late August? as Benton said many hurdles must be jumped through and in proper protocol and order to accomplish a oct meet. usually? about a 60 day notice is given for everyone to make travel plans.
