What up AVP. Finally made an account. Long time lurker. 23 Years old taking my first Vegas trip July 12-18 and staying at the cortez. Im from San Antonio, Texas and I love this site haha.

Welcome, Shady! I dig the El Cortez. It's quite a throwback to old Vegas times. The slot machines still use actual coins, and I love the sound that they make when paying off. There's usually a couple tables of low-limit SL hold'em going, and after four hours of play they'll give you a meal comp for the more than decent coffee shop! Then it's just a hop skip and a stumble to the Fremont Experience.

Yea. I just just thought it was a sick deal on the rates for the week and i dont need anything too fancy. im planning on playing a lot of tourneys in various poker rooms. and get down on some 1/2 action. im coming with a decent roll and i dont consider myself a fish... but how many times have ya heard that one lol.
