Ooh, sounds nice. Right now I'm supporting the local Texas economy with a Real Ale Phoenixx Double ESB. That's all that's in the fridge, but, since it's a national holiday and all, a trip to the store might be in order later this week. Do you have a favorite in honor of this most holy of holidays? (Mine, at least with widespread distribution, is probably Dogfish Head 90 Min IPA.)

I just bought a 6 pack of Southern Tier Brewing's 2X Stout -- a tasty milk stout. So, I had to open one to celebrate. Might have to head out Friday to my local beverage store and see what they've got on tap to fill my growler for the holiday.

We have a crew going to New Orleans on Saturday to celebrate at the Grand Tasting at the Avenue Pub with over 50 american craft brews on tap. Plus 100's of bottles
It just happened to be my birthday on Saturday. A perfect storm!

Chuck,
IPA's aren't my thing, but I'll give a shout out to my home craft brewer: Cleveland's own Great Lakes Brewing does a good IPA called Commodore Perry -- after the naval hero of the War of 1812.
