Audition tomorrow night at 8:30 pm. Gotta get some sleep as I work 7-4 tomorrow - then maybe a good shave/shower and a nap to be refreshed for the audition.
3 people from my class auditioning for the open positions - Teach thinks really highly of us as this is an experiment since this casino does not normally accept break-ins.
Either way, the experience is going to be worth while - though I'd love to nail the 1st one so that I can just start making money lol.

While not 100% official have to wait for my background check to come back) I can now add Casino Dealer to my resume.
Hoping that I can get some craps shifts and not just stuck with BJ and carnival games. Only time will tell, but I've not taken the first step and have my foot in the door.

Thanks guys. I'm kinda excited - This will be the first non-retail job I've done in over a decade. Looking forward to the change of pace and the new environment.
The only negative - waiting for the check to come back and having all this time with no practice until I start (can no longer attend class due to work schedule).

Thanks Rob. I'm probably going to head out tomorrow and buy the stick that closest resembles the one that I used today - that way at home I can practice on my craps board just to get used to it and get better with hti. Nothing beats the real thing, but I'll do whatever I can.
Also gotta start learning some of the carnival games as well - Have to see what is out there. Maybe I can fill a long life desire to deal Casino War lol!!

Congrats, man.
I wonder if they would let you hand around the casino and practice a bit there when there's no one playing?
