Went to this casino last night and played 1/2 nl for three hours. This casino is in between Wausau and Shawano a little north of Hwy 29. Fairly new casino within the last year or two. They opened the poker room about a year ago I think.
Very nice room with bathrooms inside and mostly closed off from the casino floor with just a wide entrance from the floor.
I was disappointed with the treatment I received from the floor person when I arrived and the disappointment continued the rest of the session. He was watching the only table going when I walked in and he looked over his shoulder and went back to watching the game. Never acknowledged me or even a I'll be with you in a minute. When he did leave the game and approached the desk all I received was "do you want to play?" He got me my chips with no welcome or good luck. No thanks for playing when I cashed out. I guess he didn't really care if I played.
Later in the session the same floor person was felt) rude to me warning me of a rule while I was thinking over a call/raise bet.
The dealers were ok although a couple were inexperienced. One dealer was better than average. The competition was average with a couple decent players and most less than average. A lot of loose calls with suited gap connectors and chasing draws.
One loose guy was spewing chips raising with A rag. J-9, and 10-7 type hands. He always C-bet regardless position and almost always got called down if his opponents got a piece of the flop. He folded face down on river bet calls quite a bit. I thought it was funny when he told a lady next to him that he learned how to play watching the WSOP. He got felted twice while I played.
Unfortunately I never got a good run together and missed on a lot of flops. Left down $39 after re-buying after my first $100 went bye-bye.
It is a really nice casino and poker room. I wish it was closer to home.
I doubt this room will stay open long as they don't have enough players or games going. This was a Saturday night and seldom did the one table stay full for long. I left about 11 pm and they were down to 6 handed.

Going back there Sunday to play a tourney. Got a flyer in the mail and they have a $200+15 buy-in tourney for 10,000 chips. Blinds start at 25-50 with 30 minute levels the first four. Then 20 minute levels after. $5000 guaranteed 1st place. 60 players max. 40 have preregistered as of today. I have been too busy to play much poker this winter. Looking forward to Sunday. Supposed to be 73 degrees Sunday hope I don't regret not going golfing instead.

Made it almost 5 hours and finished 17th. No hands of note just hung around less than 10bb for a couple hours. Biggest hand that crippled me was AdKd all in pre vs AcKc vs AA less than 30 players left. Got my diamond draw on the flop but not to be. Doubled up enough after to stay in until final 2 tables. Well run tourney paid to tenth place.
