Looks pretty good. However, it seems like the blind/ante levels jump a bit quicker (to compensate for the longer levels?). Not complaining, I just see that there is no 75/150 level and a few others. Is this pretty standard? I don't know because tourneys in my area with levels longer than 20 minutes are few and far between, and the levels in those jump pretty quick. So I've never played a tourney with such nice, long levels AND such a nice starting stack. I will definitely be playing on day 1B, coming in on Fri. nite instead of Sat. morning. Figured being well rested was better than getting up at the crack of dawn and driving in to play all day, since I plan on making a deep run. This way, I can sleep late, shower, eat, and get to the poker room without rushing around.

Other questions: 1) How long will each starting flight last? A predetermined number of levels? hours? or % of players starting each day? 2) Will the payout structure follow other MGM tourneys, or will it be different? (coming soon?)

Sorry if this is just basic knowledge or if it is posted somewhere else already. I just don't know about these things. It's nice to know as much information as possible. I'm really looking forward to this tourney and the AVP meet (never been to one). This will be the first time since I was single that I will be coming to Vegas w/o the wife. Not that I don't enjoy time with the wife, I do. It's just that this should be a great weekend of focusing only on poker.

I guess we won't be seeing any special room rates.

Right. But I work for other people. I can't just change my vacation around, unfortunately.

Anyone knows about satellites for this event??
