Yes...in case you were wondering...the thundering herd of redcoats is inbound with the first arrival due in just a few days.
The majority will be arriving on 11/17 and will be gathering for celebratory libations at Carnaval Court @ Harrahs from 7pm (or earlier knowing some of them). All AVPers are welcome to join us.
ADDED VALUE
Also, most of us belong to a UK poker group 'APAT' who will be hosting a 2-day tournament at Caesars Palace on 19th & 20th November.
That is right up my alley. I will be there Fri/Sat/Sun 18-20 and that tourney looks sweet. I plan on playing the 7pm $175 at the V on Friday night, then this on Saturday.
How late and where will most of you be drinking Friday night? I used to party hard with some Brit Sailors and Marines on a little island named Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Never drank as much before or since. Can't wait!

I'm part of the Brit group (easy to find me, I'll be the sober one) and am looking forward to it...oh yeah, that's cos one of the 3 main reasons we're invading is my wedding.

Wait, let me get this straight:
you're flying across the pond with 50+ Brits/Welshmen (and God knows maybe even an Irishman or a Scot in the mix)
you're coming over here to get married
you will be in Las Vegas
and you will be.... SOBER
Is there a medical condition (e.g., allergy to alcohol) involved???
Are you trying to dispel years of soccer hooligan press in a single Vegas trip???
Are you some sort of nut job???
In all seriousness, Congratulations!
Be sure to tell your band of Brit invaders to have fun, but not too much fun. Remember "what happens in Vegas stays on Facebook and Youtube forever." And try not to take all of the drunkard's money at the tables -- the locals like it when you leave some of that cash behind on something other than good ale.
Dave
P.S.

Paulie -- grab some Gauloises and a French passport and nobody will know the difference.

Friday night...we could be anywhere...but Diablo's &/or The Pub both at the Monte Carlo...or possibly Margaritaville at the Flamingo have been mentioned.
I'll probably be tweeting like an idiot so you could follow me@Paulie_D59 or #apatvegas is the one we're using for this little shindig.
I do plan on pushing people towards some late night divebars and the like but you never know.
I'll be one of the fat ones...
Sunday night for me will probably be at the Mixed Game at the IP. I loves me some 3-2-1 Omaha.
