Any Players card will earn you $2 per hour ($3 per hour between 5am and 10am), and all you have to do to check how many comp dollars you have accumulated is ask one of the Poker Supervisors

I'm headed to town tomorrow but I can't get a read on this room. Comps are higher than normal (I may try to drag myself to the $3/hr comp time). I read about people being put on tables outside the main room which isn't good. Maybe I'm reading the reports wrong, but I'd want to be in the main room to play. The trip reviews seem to be positive, but they are sparse. I would love to play PLO but I'm definitely not bankrolled for it unless I make a big run early in my trip.

I'm primarily playing at the MGM due to their soft NL games. Beyond that, I'll probably hit one of Venetian (O/8 8-16), Aria (not sure what game) or Bellagio (1-2 NL). Having visited the other two, is Aria worth the time/effort?

Also, the M Life card - is this the same card MGM Grand uses? Can I mix comps between the resorts or is it each comp dollar from Aria is only good at Aria restaurants and each dollar from MGM Grand is only good at MGM Grand restaurants?

MGM properties comps are only redeemable at the property that they are earned at. Yes, Aria uses the M Life card, which is the new version of the old MGM Mirage card (same card that MGM Grand uses).

Does anyone know if the buy-in for the 1pm tournament will stay at $230 after the WSOP is over?

I believe that it is technically still possible, but I don't think it is very likely. Last year they upped the buy-in to $175 during the series and it went back down after the WSOP. I for one wouldn't mind if they still kept it higher than $125 for the afternoon tournament, say a $150 or $175.

They can barely get over 50 people during weekdays over 200 buy in during the series. If they keep it over 200 after the series, i am guessing the numbers go down to 30 or less after the series is over. Just my opinion.

The AVP Tournament Database has been updated to reflect the change in the Aria tournament schedule.

Now, both the 1PM and the 7PM are $125, T10k starting stacks, 30 Minute levels, with 1 Re-Entry allowed.

How is the $1/$3 game? How would you compare to MGM.
