My cousin just finished the Boston Marathon in 3:28. I'm a runner, regularly between 6-9 miles, and can't imagine what my body would feel like after 26.2. Nicely done!
My son used to be a sprinter during high school, running 100/200 meters. He didn't even like doing the 400. Now, a few years later, he is telling me he wants to do the Vancouver Marathon in a couple of weeks. Crazy kid. I got my stretcher ready
Heh, that's just the opposite of me. I ran cross country in high school, and did a lot of distance running, including a half marathon. In track, I did the half mile and 330-yard low hurdles. As I've aged, the distances I do have gotten shorter. In track meets, I now rarely do anything more than 100 meters, and sometim3es just limit myself to field events.

Bought a Droid X this morning. Yes, I am finally moving into the world of smartphones. I purposely stayed away from the iPhone so as not to become assimilated into the Borg.

I went with the IPHONE4 and couldn't be happier...have the Otterbox case for it never dropped a call in the last 2 months and is waaaaaayy better than what my Blackberry Curve was reception-wise..IPHONE RULES!!!
Not sure what the results will be, but I remain hopeful that they will be positive. And if I fail, let me have the courage to come back and admit defeat.
Well I guess I did ok. Profit of $815 for the trip. The only problem is I spent way too much time doing other things, and only spent 22 hours actually sitting at the poker tables. Full trip report coming later.
