I got a message from Tony yesterday regarding his decision that shed a bit of light on things. He will end up back here at some point as he will not get the readership he got here. Half a million views in 2 years is alot. He did write everything in his blogs he doesn't have a ghost writer. Psand you should take a look at his new blog. You were a subject of a post. He gets better control over the blog but will still get idiots stalking him over there. Pokerdogg I was surprised to see the blatant racist comment made on the other site. VPN made a big deal about not wanting Tony and now he's made a deal with the devil. Some of their members are now leaving because of him. I got 100+ channels on my TV. If I don't like a show click problem solved. No need to spent my time ranting about it. Tonys story is even interesting to people who don't follow poker. My buddies wanted to meet Tony last trip and they don't play poker and we know some pretty interesting people so they weren't bored. Also I'm not knocking the other site I just find it ironic they changed their position on this. Smart move on their part.

Will not even look at it. People can take whatever shots they want at me there. I was here before TBC was so i considered his blog here as being in my space. Don't really care what he does elsewhere.

A sad, confused post that wasn't meant to be funny but is. You and TBC have way more in common than you'd like to admit..

It does seem a bit racist, but I won't say that without more evidence. There is one positive thing with TBC's blog moving over there, some of the trolls will be gone from AVP. I find it laughable that this guy picks on my writing skills, when his posts are full of run on sentences, poor grammar, and he doesn't seem to know how to use the shift key. Check this out his first post...

alright, well, i guess i'll be the first of the probably many lurkers of TBC's AVP blog to create an account here. i think it's a good move and it'd be nice to finally be rid of some miserable dipshits that love to berate tony and didnt want tony's blog on avp. i guess clicking on threads you like and, you know, not clicking on threads you don't is hard for some. i have a feeling that most of his pseudo-haters(hi deephollow, psand, kissmyaces) will show up here and either lurk or simply create a fake account so as not to appear to be a 'fanboy' which is clrearly what they are anyway.

with that being said, lol@the title of this thread. with the risk of sounding like one of the 'haters' tony what is your definition of 'success'

The really funny thing is, he seems to be the only one that has moved over there with a new (fake) account. What a hypocrite and a coward. I say to people like that, good riddance.

I don't think so. All I'm saying is i wasn't going out of my way to find him. He came to where i was and started posting his crap. I'm not going to where he is to read it.

When I originally stumbled upon this site I had just typed in las vegas poker rooms in a search engine. Since I work in real estate we have a few schmoozing conventions down in vegas every year with bankers, etc to kiss some ass and land some buisness for each other. I have played in many home games, dabbled in online poker and to that point had never played in vegas. I decided it would be perfect to play in vegas with some buddies so I wanted to see if there was any info about it out there in cyberspace. I stumbled upon this website and the advice is great. I wasn't even looking for TBCs blog but I found it. I decided to slowly read the blog. I never read the entire thing but it was a fascinating story. Somehow this man has managed to survive for 20 years just playing cards, machines etc. I wouldn't call him a pro but I would call him a grinder. Lucky for him he has blown so much dough at casinos over the years that now he gets free hotel rooms almost every day. As much as I hate when he lives off of the taxpayers( govt housing, SSI, etc.) he is able to do what most arent able to do. Even after going bust multiple times he finds a way to rebuild. He doesnt even live on govt support as of today though I do think he will be back on it someday. This is probably the beginning of the end for his blog because part of the thing that made his blog so interesting was the honesty. He used to throw it all out there whatever he did good or bad. Now he tends to embellish or hide the bad things he does and now he just wants people to stroke his ego. Since he has moderator powers his new blog will probably be very dull. It will just be the same people stroking him saying ohhh your such a good player, if only youd stay off them machines. Hell I would be suprised if he even admits when he loses money on his new blog. He wants a big stroke fest and now that he has moderator power the blog is dead. Sure he may get traffic for a while but if he deletes all the negative comments and only allows people that kiss his ass then he will just be another person that will slowly disappear into the vast world of the internet. Good luck Tony you will need it once your free hotel rooms run out because some day the economy will recover and you will have to pay for rooms again if you don't keep playing machines at the rate you play. I do hope to run into him someday and it sounds like he is fairly easy to find. Just look at osheas or bills. I am sure after about 10 years he will still be sitting at the poker table doing the same thing he has done the last 20 years. I am guessing his roll will still be 2-3k in 10 years

Actually he has made several posts. I don't think you are looking in the right place. His blog is in the forums, not in the blog section.
