Does anyone know when the 2011 schedule will come out?

I believe it came out in March for the 2010 WSOP.

Is there a specific tourney that you're looking for? Otherwise, it's always pretty much the same, in that it runs from the last weekend in May until mid-July, although the Main Event is the only 'event' running for the last 10-14 days. This year they had $1000 events every weekend. They were a pretty big hit, and I can't see that the organizers would change anything in that regard.

Just looked it up: the schedule was released December 17, 2009. I knew that it was earlier this year, didn't realize how much so. If you doubt me, google '2010 WSOP schedule release'.

Although they have plenty of time (you'd think), a possible delay is...where will they hold it?

If LVM's rumour becomes a reality and the Rio is sold then they'll have to move it.

PHo or Caesars?

It's anyone's guess but I would suggest that both of them are in the process of planning table layouts and other issues right now...or at least will be in the near future.

These things sneak up on you.

i would like to play the senior eveny, also any 1,000 or 1,500 event.

at my job they go around by seniority and you pick your vacation, first time they come around you pick 2 weeks, and a week is from sunday to saturday. i need the week of thanksgiving to travel to see my family. then i can pick a week in june but i wont know what tourneys are going on. also i know there are some that start on sunday or monday but dont know which ones until the schedule comes out.

lets discuss something importanta,AVP 2011 Meets:

if i remember correctly the 2010 schedule was the following:

first AVP meet second weekend of March
second AVP meet was weekend the "main event" @ wsop started
third AVP meet will be the weekend the "final table" at wsop is played to a conclusion,WSOP winner

as a digression those are more importanta dates,when AVP meets will be.
yes those will be my 3 weeks of vacation in 2011

This past year the $1000 dollar events played day 1A on Saturday and 1B on Sunday. I believe the $1500 events began on Wednesday. I also think they held one each week.
