I love the comradere of the low limit table. Poker is more about having a good time and possibly making a few bucks for me so limit suits me just fine. I just wish Excalibur would bring back their 1/3 LHE game. That was a blast.

I am a Limit player as well. I just really enjoy the game more than No-Limit. I am not doing this for a living. It is for fun, plain and simple, and for me a limit game is just more fun.
Ditto..unless I can find a juicy PLO/PLO8 game..which doesn't happen very often.
I play almost all low limit in LV with occasional NL tournaments and an occasional 1/2 NL cash game. I'm never going to take enough $ on my Vegas trips to realistically bankroll the ups and downs of NL. I'd rather use my money for other things. Plus, if I lost $200 or more on one hand, I'd need therapy. I just play for fun, and I mostly enjoy casual tables of tourists who are just out to have a good time like I am. If I played NL, I'd stress out over the money. Playing low limit keeps the money situation under control so I can just play a relaxing game of cards while sipping my Corona. Life is good.
I also get a kick out of the NL players who sit down at limit games and complain about limit. Free entertainment. Only in Vegas.
For someone like me, who only gets to play once or twice a year due to some degenerate behavior in the past forcing the wife to impose a poker "death sentence", limit is much more relaxing and less stressful - although I do have her blessing and her dime to come out in a week for my b-day. There is just something unsettling about losing a chunk of your bankroll with one bad call or misread. Why blow it all at once when you can bleed it off for hours?
JJMax - I see you're from Colorado. Ever play the house games on Colfax? Greek Club, Hopsing, AI, Med Club?
I started playing limit and then moved to NLHE cash games. Now I find I like limit cash and NLHE tourneys. I agree the games are totally different. The biggest difference is that people get priced in on draws, flushes in particular. If you are four flushing and there is $40 in the pot is a $4 bet going to push you out? Nope! Nothing frees the mind like playing 2/4 limit and seeing if you can drink 20 beers.....
