Unc is certainly the better team, but when Unlv is shooting well, they can beat anyone.

It's very possible - UNLV has been notoriously bad playing at The Orleans. It's rather sad that the only way UNC would accept a home and home with UNLV was if it wasn't at the Thomas and Mack Center. This is the same place where UNLV got lit alive by Kansas State two years ago.

I believe unc is playing at Kentucky next week.. I doubt they are concerned about playing unlv on their home court if they are taking games at Kentucky

The negotiations took many, many months with Lon Kruger. Remember that losing at UK doesn't mean anything bad, as that would mean losing to a top 10 team. But to lose to a rising UNLV program (non-AQ) just fuels the fire.
