OK I know there are plenty of fantasy football haters out there, so hopefully you can breeze past this thread without any unneccesary flames! I don't think I've seen a thread like this one here, so how about a forum for anyone wanting advice or discussion about an upcoming matchup or decision having to be made...

I'll start the proceedings with a slash (WR or RB) problem I'm having: Percy Harvin vs. New England (possibly without Favre) OR Jamaal Charles vs. Buffalo. At first glance it seems obvious that Charles will probably have close to or over 100 yards and possible a TD or two, but Harvin is starting to become a dynamic part of the Vikings offense and return game. Decisions, decisions...If you want any more background on my team, my other two starting WR's are Andre Johnson and Greg Jennings, hard to bench either of those. Same goes for my RB's - LT and Ryan Torain.

So even though this is a poker site, I know plenty of you play FFL, hope to start some decent conversation here...

Good luck,
BigJ35

*Edited to correctly note KC playing Buffalo.*

I believe KC is playing buffalo. Buffalo has the worst ranked run defense in the league. Charles is the play this week. Pats defense has been decent this year not allowing a ton of points.

RBs generally have less variance than WRs.

RBs = +EV!

Damn! My own topic and I messed up the first one! Yeah, I mixed up my RB's, as I also have Torian going against Detroit. Charles definitely has a higher projection, but I'm just playing the mind game with myself about "What if Harvin has another huge game..."

Helpful advice so far. One more for you all: Greg Jennings vs. New York Jets (Perhaps on Revis Island) OR Dwayne Bowe vs. Buffalo?

Some more help needed! Somehow in my league of 10 I almost have too many studs to choose from. I can only use two of these four (since I also have Andre Johnson, and have only one more WR slot and one slash):

Greg Jennings vs. Dallas
Dwayne Bowe vs. Oakland
Percy Harvin vs. Arizona
Lee Evans vs. Chicago

I suppose this is a good problem to have, but I don't want to sit any of them...

Jamal Charles > Percy Harvin. Keep in mind Moss is gone and Percy Harvin will have some double coverages.

Dallas 2ndary can't seem to stop anyone. I'll take Greg Jennings and Lee Evans.

Harvin should start- did you see what Tampa Bay did to Arizona??? Jennings should be the other starter- Driver is banged up- clearly Jennings is the #1 options for the Packers passing game.

I appreciate the advice. Jennings is a for sure, and I agree that if healthy, Harvin should be in there too. He is becoming such a big part of that offense. I like the Evans play, but it does depend what Bear D shows up, sometimes even the worst teams (see Seattle) carve through that defense but sometimes they get their thumbs out of their arses and take care of business...

Need some help here...I've got Percy Harvin but no where to put him. Do I sit Greg Jennings, Andre Johnson (on Revis Island) or Dwayne Bowe (vs. weak Arizona) to get him in there?
