Anywhere? None of the Los Angeles (I'm in LA) rooms seem to and I don't see it listed for any Vegas Casinos...Is it strictly a private game sort of thing?

I was starting to play it on Poker Stars shortly before it was bludgeoned to death by the Feds and would really like to play some live.

It is not on a regular basis anywhere in Vegas. Hard part is getting others to play it also, seems everyone is still stuck on NL. You might find it in the mix at the Trop or at TI.

I know it was also part of the 10 game mix at the IP's Sunday night mixed game, along with Badugi and Badducci, which is a split pot Bagudi and 2-7 game. So, a lowball player would have some advantage in 3 games. Plus there's a Razz round, but since that's a stud variation, it's not really the same as the other lowball games where you are drawing.

Also not sure about the LA rooms, but often times if you let room manager know you are interested in a game (and they have dealers that can handle it) they will put the word out; some may even try to set up a night for the game as a way to draw some traffic -- I'm pretty sure that's how LV Michael started the IP and TI mixed games.

It's always part if the low limit mixed games at Aria, like 8-16 or 12-24 mix, as well as the 30-60 or 40-80 mix. Not sure if it still runs, but it was part of Ventians low limit mixed game as well

Unfortunately, the only time 2-7 spreads in Vegas is when it is part of a mixed game. Sunday nights at IP (3/6), Saturday nights at Tropicana (4/8), weekends at Bellagio (40/80), and when the Aria mix goes (12/24).

The only non-Holdem or Omaha regular game in Vegas is 2-8 Spread Razz Tuesday nights at Tropicana.

Bummer on all accounts, since I'm really looking for the NL/single-draw variety (and from the sounds of it, all the games mentioned are Limit Triple-draw). Limit just isn't much fun for me ( I like the added variables of NL) which is why got interested in 2-7 single draw as a "second game".

I guess I'll take another look at PLO to expand my poker thinking.

Glad I found this thread. I'm a NL 2-7 player. I cut my teeth on this game along with stud about 15 years ago. It remains my favorite game. In the coming months once I rebuild my bankroll (spent a large chunk at the WSOP playing in the $1500 NL 2-7 and one of the $1500 NLH events) I will be creating an interest list for $2/$5 NL 2-7 at the Ventian on Fridays and possibly Saturday nights. I'm thinking it will be around September/October. Feel free to PM me and stay in contact. I'd love to have a weekly NL 2-7 game.
